Smoking and hypnosis facts

AMA (American Medical Association) – 435,000 people die from cigarettes every year – that’s 1 in 5 Americans

AMA (American Medical Association) – 2017 – published this article with the findings of a 2006 US Federal Court that tobacco companies are in violation of the U.S. Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act – That they are in the business of increasing revenues with little regard to illness and suffering.

Ten years later, the US Court of Appeals makes it mandatory that the public be advised of the ill effects of smoking, second hand smoke, addiction to nicotine.

Tobacco companies continue to practice their for profit deceptive ways to keep you smoking or usingtheir products. Nicotine gum, patches, vaping, e-cigarettes are not intended to help you kick the habit, but to keep you hooked. It is just another way they profit from you.

They target young people to get them to start smoking before the age of 24, because after that it is highly unlikely for people to smoke after that age. It is because from the age 10 – 24, these are the social years, people want to fit in, belong, and socialize. Around 25, the frontal lobes are fully formed, where you reason and logic or decision making is done, they get a more sense of self, more reflective.

Hypnosis has been around since the Egyptians; however it was not called Hypnosis back then.

The Egyptians had “Sleep temples”, where the High Priests would create a sleep like state for everyone , and perform healings.

Even Catholic Priests used a form of hypnosis; they called it “healings”, to help the sick.

The early beginning of hypnosis came from the work of a German doctor, Franz Mesmer (1734-1815).

It wasn’t until a Scottish doctor James Braid (1795-1860), after performing major operations, such as limb amputations, using variations of techniques from Dr. Mesmer, put his patients into deep states of “sleep ” , as this is what it appear to be to the observer. He published an article coining this state as Hypnosis.  From the Greek word Hypnos meaning sleep, the God of Sleep.

Hypnosis was continued to be used by doctors, dentists as a means to control pain and promote healing. It was continued to be used and taught to doctors, dentists up until the late 1950s and 60s, when a stable anesthetic was developed.

Psychologists, Psychiatrists started using and developing hypnosis, and some of modern day hypnosis can be attributed to the work of Sigmund Freud, Dave Elman, Richard Bandler, Milton Erickson, and many others.

Hypnosis is recognized by

  • BMA (British Medical Association)
  • AMA (American Medical Association)
  • The American Psychological Association
  • American Psychiatric Association
  • CMA (Canadian Medical Association)

Hypnosis is safe, scientifically proven and is being used everywhere, in hospitals, paramedics, sports, advertising, pain management, psychology, etc .

Hypnosis is proven to create change fast, permanently.

The technique I’ve been trained in combines neuroscience and advanced hypnosis, which has a higher success rate than some of the other methods out there.
